Cellar: Drink now - 8 Years (2019-2027)
ABV: 13.9%

Matured in French oak casks (one third new) for 20 months. Semi translucent bright red core with a light red hue. Sailing out of the glass are perfumed scents of violets, spicy red cherries, infusions of fresh herbs and ripe strawberries with hints of forest floor and stalky cedar also present. Light on its feet and remarkably graceful the palate almost defies gravity with its rich, luscious ripe red to dark fruits that are delivered with a tremendous tidal like power wave. Supplely textured ripe red to dark cherry and strawberry flavours flood the mouth with complexing nuances of forest floor, fresh herbs, a gentle meatiness and spicy cedar sitting underneath. Fresh, vibrant finish, the tannins beautifully interwoven and velvet like. Very long, rich and expansive aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 13.9%

Other Reviews….
Maybe it's the core of just-right sweet cherry fruit and spice, or the savoury nuances or the well-placed lithe tannins and refreshing acidity, whatever it is, this is finest Hommage to date. Drink by 2029.
