2017 Hoddles Creek Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright red core with a vibrant crimson hue. A very fragrant nose of red cherries and strawberries laced with a mixture of violets and subtle anise blossoms from the glass with hints of herbs and spicy cedar also evident. Light in body weight but with ample power the palate dishes up a delicious flavour profile of spicy ripe red cherries and strawberries over traces of dried herbs and spicy cedar. Finishes dry with fresh, youthful acidity which counterpoints a supple mid palate feel. Perfectly integrated velvet like tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of crunchy ripe red cherries, strawberries, faint dried herbs and light spicy cedar.
