2017 Greenock Creek Alices Shiraz

Dense inky black heart with an equally deep dark red black hue. Heady aromatics of liquorice, blackberries and ripe luscious black cherries waft from the glass followed by vanillin oak and spice. The blockbuster palate weighs in at a hefty 16.5% alcohol but is relatively balanced with just a hint of  heat on the finish. Massive in its proportions, decadently rich blackberry, liquorice, luscious black cherry and black plum fruits coat the palate with an opulent texture.  Vanillin oak, subtle dark chocolate and spice sits beneath. Velvet smooth tannins and pedal to the metal power on the long voluptuous aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
