2017 Giuseppe Campagnola Valpolicella Ripasso

Made from a blend of 60% Corvina, 35% Rondinella and 5% Molinara grapes. Opaque black dark red core with a bright dark red hue. Nosing reveals scents of new leather along with dried cherries, herbs, earth and spice. Mid weighted and possessing good underlying freshness the palate sees dried and dark cherry fruits sitting alongside some liquorice. Elements of earth, dried herbs and spicy tobacco move in on the back half. Slightly chewy tannins with a savoury medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
