2017 Giant Steps Tarraford Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinct glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Refined aromatics of ripe nectarine and grapefruit meld into gun flint like characters, faint hints of dried honey, citrusy nougat and spice. Very elegant and fine in the mouth the palate is dominated by a burst of nectarine and grapefruit flavours which sit atop a back drop of subtlety honeyed citrus, nougat and light gun flint infusions. There’s a delicate creaminess to the mouthfeel finishing clean and dry with vibrant acidity. Concludes with a ripe nectarine, white peach, dried honey, citrusy nougat and spice aftertaste.
