A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. Mulberry and red to black currant aromas infused with black olive meld into subtle graphite and tobacco leaf notes. Light to medium weight the palate has a very elegant frame with flavours of mulberries, plum, black olive, graphite, light earth, tobacco and spicy cedar. Bright acidity and dryish tannins impart a chalky feel, resulting in a moderate to medium length aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc: a few of my favourite things.
It’s a beautiful thing to smell, and to drink, not least as a young wine. Plum, and forest berries, chocolate and sweet earth, almost a potpourri fragrance. Medium-bodied, soft and supple, all chocolate and hazelnuts (praline), so gentle and charming, no grating acidity, a sweep of sooty tannin tumbles down the plump berry and sweet tobacco finish. Turkish delight lingers in the aftertaste, and what a bloody delight it is too, from start to finish. Drink 2018-2023.
