Semi translucent bright red colour with a light red hue. Pretty aromatics of ripe red cherries tinged with rose petals are trailed by some spicy red currants, light tobacco and earthy dried herbs. Light to medium weight, the palate’s moreish red fruits are carried by a bed of vibrant acidity. Subtle earthy dried herb, a touch of mint, light tobacco and spice elements then chime in. Slightly chalky tannins provide some light grip to the fresh finish that’s long and savoury. One of the better Australian Nebbiolo’s we’ve seen.
