2017 Contini Tonaghe Cannonau

Made from 90% Cannonau (Grenache) and 10% other indigenous black grape varieties. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of dark raspberries connect with dark cherries and liquorice followed by some light earth and spicy fresh herb infusions. Ripe dark raspberry flavours have a juicy feel on the light to mid weight palate with elements of liquorice, scorched earth, dried herbs and spicy pepper sitting beneath. Finishes with a lick of bright acidity, slightly chewy tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
