From the excellent 2017 vintage springs this delicious fruit driven Malbec. Certified organic it has a totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries intermix with blackcurrant and blueberry followed by some dusty earth, fresh herb and spicy cedar notes. The palate is a medium bodied rich, juicy ball of fruit that’s well endowed with dark cherry, liquorice and ripe blueberry flavours which meld into dried herb, earth and spice nuances. Fleshy mouthfeel with finely grained well integrated tannins. Excellent length concluding with a long fruit loaded aftertaste that’s quite moreish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
A very complex and attractive nose with fresh aromas of violets, licorice, blueberries and cassis, leading to a lithe, fresh and juicy palate that carries a supple, long and velvety texture at the finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
