2017 Black Jack Chortle's Edge Shiraz

Fruit was sourced from the Bendigo and Heathcote districts to make this Shiraz. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and black cherry mix with vanillin cedar, scorched earth and blackpepper. Medium bodied black cherry and liquorice flavours have an earthy feel over toasty vanillin oak and spicy pepper. Polished tannins with a dark to black fruited aftertaste that has a scorched earth edge to it.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
