2017 Bera Barbera d'Alba

100% Barbera sourced from a 30 year old South-East facing vineyard. Totally opaque dark red black core with a dark purple hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries intermix with Morello cherries, dark plum and a hint of liquorice. Earthy incense like notes and fresh herbs follow on. Rich with a juicy mouthfeel, a big burst of Morello and dark cherry flavours fill the mouth underscored by ripe plum, liquorice, infusions of earthy incense and spicy herbs. Velvety tannins finishing with good vibrancy and a moreish aftertaste that keeps you coming back for more.
