2017 Bellevue Estate Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black core with a very deep bright dark red black hue. Potent aromatics of liquorice dark plum, dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spicy mocha bound from the glass. Rich and seductive in its feel, the opulently textured flavours of liquorice, blackberry and dark chocolate are backed by some fairly prominent toasty vanillin oak. A lick of spice follows. Finishes with good freshness, velvet smooth tannins and a medium to long toasty vanillin oak laced aftertaste. Will test some tasters oak tolerance.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
