2017 Atze's Corner Eddies Old Vine Shiraz

Aged in new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads. Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Potent blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas are intermeshed with dark chocolate, vanillin oak, scorched earth and spice notes. Bold, plush and seductive, the decadently rich palate is awash with ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum and black cherry fruits which envelope the mouth with a voluptuous textural feel. Toasty vanillin oak, chocolatey earth and spicy mocha characters flow onto the back half. Silky tannins with a long powerful finish that seduces the senses.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
