2016 Yeringberg Cabernets

A blend of 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot and 7% Malbec. Deep opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. A complex array of red to black currant, subtle liquorice and ripe mulberry fruits greet the nostrils with vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy fresh herb elements in tow. Rich yet very refined the medium bodied palate is decorated with ripe blue to black currant and mulberry flavours which are underpinned by subtly toasted vanillin cedar, traces of spicy tobacco and infusions of fresh herbs. Quite fleshy in its feel with velvet like yet structured tannins. Long graceful finish.
