2016 Wirra Wirra The 12th Man Wild Ferment Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted white peach aromas laced with a hint of grapefruit meld into subtle dried honey, flinty matchstick notes and biscuity oak. Medium bodied with an elegant creaminess to the mouthfeel and fresh finish the palate dishes up flavours of nectarines and grapefruit which are married to delicate dried honey characters, flinty match stick and biscuity nougat nuances. Concludes with an aftertaste of white peaches, nectarines, light dried honey, infusions of flinty match stick and biscuity nougat.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
