2016 Villa Ponciago Morgon Les Pierres Bleues

Deep dark red core with a slight tinge of black around the edges and a bright red purple hue. Fragrant scents of violets, ripe cherries and clove infusions emanate from the glass followed by strawberry, earth and fresh herb notes. Light in body the palate serves up a delicious combination of cherries, strawberries and violet infusions over earth, subtle incense and spicy herbs. Good bright finish with finely grained tannins and a long savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
