2016 Valle Secreto First Edition Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 12 months in French oak this rich, well structured Chilean Cabernet clearly validates the countries reputation for producing some of the worlds best value Cabernet Sauvignon.

Impenetrable black as night core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Ripe blackcurrant aromatics infused with notions of tobacco and black olive are followed by spicy cedar and dried herb notes. Full in body the palate is blessed with rich blackcurrant fruit that’s tinged with a touch of liquorice over a back drop of cedary tobacco characters, black olives and spice. A sturdy well built tannin structure forms the backbone. Excellent depth with a long ripe blackcurrant, cedary tobacco character, black olive and spicy dried herb finish. An impressive Cabernet for the price.
