2016 Two Tims Up-End Vineyard Sections 5 & 6 Shiraz

Matured in French and American oak. Midnight black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aniseed and liquorice aromas dominate the nose with blackberry, subtlety smoked vanillin cedar, earth and blackpepper also chiming in. Rich with a juicy mouthfeel, generous ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours sit over a back drop of smoky vanillin cedar, light earth and spicy pepper. There’s a bit of chew to the otherwise opulent mouthfeel and finish, with a sturdy tannin structure marking its presence. Aftertaste of ripe blackberries, liquorice, spicy vanillin cedar, lightly smoked earth and pepper.
