2016 The Edge Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright dark crimson hue. Fragrant aromatics of violets, dark cherries and incense overlay hints of earthy meat like characters and spice. Light to medium weight with good fruit richness the palate boasts flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum intermixed with anise over some spicy cedar. Finishes fresh and lively with very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum, anise infusions, faint cedar and spice. A very accessible, fruity style of Pinot to drink in the short term.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
