2016 Squitchy Lane Vineyard Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak. Semi translucent dark red colour with tinges of black to the edges and a light red hue. Nosing offers up ripe cherry, strawberry and subtle anise aromas with some forest floor, stalk and spicy cedar notes in the background. Very supple and light in body the palate is elegantly flavoured with spicy dark cherries, plum and traces of anise over forest floor and spicy cedar. Finely grained well integrated tannins with an aftertaste of dark cherries, gamey forest floor characters and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
