Sourced from the oldest vines on the Bellarine Peninsula. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light brick red hue. Intense spicy ripe dark cherry and strawberry aromas intermingle with dried herbs, meaty characters and forest floor. Supple and spicy the palate possesses a generous dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruit profile over a back drop of dried herbs, some meatiness and earthy cedar. Silky smooth tannins. Excellent power with a long aftertaste that’s both smooth and sumptuous.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13.9%

Other Reviews….
Soho Road Vineyard was planted in '78, and is believed to be the oldest in the Bellarine Peninsula. Light, clear crimson hue; plum and cherry (both red and black); the wine has length and balance, its fruits trimmed by a savoury/foresty edge. If it had greater depth, it would have been in gold medal territory. Drink by 2026.
