Brilliant water like colour with a very faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Intense passionfruit, green apple and citrus aromas are intermixed with some herbaceous grassy characters and fresh asparagus notes. Zingy flavours of passionfruit, green apple and citrus enliven the palate over some light herbaceous characters. Excellent fruit concentration. Fresh crunchy acid finish with a long aftertaste of passionfruit, green apple, citrus and light herbaceous characters.

Other Reviews....
For long accepted as the benchmark for Adelaide Hills sauvignon blanc, and you don't have to go past the bouquet to figure out why: just about every tropical fruit you can imagine is on display from custard apple at one extreme, kiwi fruit and green pineapple at the other (Michael Hill-Smith rejects gooseberry on the basis this means cape gooseberry, rarely encountered in Australia). It all adds up to a complete wine made to be enjoyed until the queue forms for the next release. Drink 2017.
