Matured in new to 4 year old French oak barriques for 12 months. Brilliant straw colour with faint glimmers of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose sings with elevated aromatics of ripe peaches, apricot, honeycomb and hints of lemon butter over subtle creamy cashews and citrusy nougat. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a creamy textural feel the palate sports flavours of ripe pears, apricots and honeycomb complemented by lemon butter over a back drop of cashew and spicy nougat. Clean dry finish with good balancing freshness from the acidity. Excellent length ending with a long ripe pear, apricot, lemon butter, honeycomb, cashew and spicy nougat aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Estate-grown and made by long-term winemaker Robin Brockett with unrelenting attention to detail. A beautifully weighted and composed wine, with pink grapefruit and white peach sharing the fruit message, which is given equal support by integrated oak and crisp acidity. It has exceptional length. Drink by 2029.
