2016 Sandalford Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and liquorice are overlaid by meaty characters and blackpepper with vanillin cedar notes also evident. Medium bodied, juicy dark berry and liquorice flavours are infused with blackpepper and dried meats followed by vanillin cedar and subtle scorched earth characters. Meaty textural feel with slightly chewy tannins. Medium to long savoury aftertaste of peppered juicy dark fruits, liquorice, dried meats, vanillin cedar and subtle scorched earth.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
