2016 Sandalford Estate Reserve Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose offers up scents of ripe nectarine laced with hints of dried honey and flinty struck match stick characters followed by light citrusy nougat and mineral notes. Elegant and streamlined the palate features flavours of nectarines, infusions of gun flint and light dried honey over some citrusy mineral characters. Dry finish with fresh acidity. Aftertaste of nectarines, citrus, subtle gun flint infusions and mineral.
