$23. 99
Bottle
$287.88 Dozen
Cellar: 5 - 6 Years (2025-2026)
ABV: 14.5%
Closure: Stelvin

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Elevated ripe red to black currant and mulberry scents meld into cigar box, dried herb, vanillin earth like notes and spice. Rich and beautifully weighted in the mouth, the palate is awash with dense blackcurrant and ripe mulberry fruits. Lying underneath are notions of liquorice, earthy tobacco characters, dried herbs, traces of black olive and spicy vanillin cedar. The fleshy feel of the fruit offset against a firm, slightly gritty tannin structure. Long sturdy, slightly chewy aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 14.5%

Other Reviews…..
This has greater depth and layers than its brethren across the range, loaded with the effect of 20 months in French oak (33% new). This said, it also boasts a lift in concentration and with that, alcohol. Coffee grind-mocha-bitter chocolate tannins expand across the palate, encasing sage, scrub, currant and olive notes. Time will temper this, but right now it is a force across the gums. Drink by 2031.
