2016 Rufina Chianti

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose offers up aromas of ripe dark cherries, a hint of liquorice, earth and dried herbs. Medium bodied the palate possesses good richness with generous ripe dark cherries prevalent over liquorice, earth and subtle dried herbs. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and good balanced acidity. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, liquorice, traces of earth and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
