2016 Rob Hall Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark cherry red colour with a crimson red hue. Perfumed nose with aromas of violets intermixed with red cherries and strawberries followed by infusions of anise and spicy cedar. Delicious flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries fill the lightly framed palate with some plum, a touch of meatiness, faint anise and spicy cedar following on. Finishes with a youthful vibrant freshness. Very fine grained tannins. Excellent length with a long dark cherry, strawberry, subtle dried meats, light anise and spicy cedar aftertaste. A delicious, lightly framed Pinot with plenty of power.
