2016 Provenance Golden Plains Chardonnay

Fruit was sourced from vineyards located in Ballarat, Henty and Geelong to make this Chardonnay. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a light tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose features aromas of fresh white peaches and ripe nectarines laced with dried honey followed by some biscuity nougat, light cashew and citrus. Medium bodied with a rich textural feel the palate is filled with flavours of ripe white peaches, pears and dried honey over a back drop of biscuity oak, subtle nougat and spice. Finishes dry with perfectly balanced acidity. Medium to long conclusion of spicy pears, ripe white peaches, dried honey and biscuity oak.
