2016 Poliziano Chianti

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Spicy ripe red currant and dark cherry aromas intermix with earth, old cedar and dried herbs. Elegant with medium body weight the palate sees flavours of red currant and red cherry overlay earth, dried herbs and spice. Slightly dryish tannins finishing with good acidity and an aftertaste of spicy red currant, dusty earth, old cedar and dried herbs.
