2016 Pikes Luccio Sangiovese

Semi translucent dark red core with a bright crimson hue. The nose displays subtle spicy red cherry aromas followed by earthy cedar and dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of ripe red cherries and raspberries over traces of earth, light cedary characters and spice. Finishes dry with bright acidity and faintly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of ripe red cherries, raspberries, earthy cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
