A ripe, easy-going Martinborough Pinot. The affordability makes for great everyday drinking.

Fermented with 5% whole clusters the wine was aged 10 months in French oak of which 24% was new. Deep bright dark ruby red colour with black tinged edges and a crimson hue. Scented aromatics of ripe dark cherries and strawberries laced with a hint of anise blossom from the glass over lightly toasted cedar and stalky dried herb end notes. Light, juicy and fleshy in texture the palate dishes up savoury flavours of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and anise followed by toasty cedar and spice. Finely grained, well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, dark plums, spicy anise and toasty cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
