2016 Mr Riggs Yacca Paddock Tempranillo

Midnight black core with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. An elevated nose features a mixture of black cherries, dark plum and subtle liquorice aromas overlaid by traces of black olive, earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Rich, musclely black cherry and liquorice flavours fill the mouth over a backdrop of inky vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Dryish finish with sturdy yet fine grained tannins imparting some chewiness on the back palate. Long spicy ripe black cherry, liquorice, vanillin cedar and subtle inky earth aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
