2016 Moss Brothers Cabernet Merlot

Very deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue. On the nose red currant and mulberry fruit scents meld into some cedary tobacco characters followed by subtle dried bay leaf end notes. Medium bodied mulberry and ripe red currant flavours reflective of the nose are again to the fore and are subtlety infused with tobacco and dried bay leaf characters over spicy vanillin cedar. Well integrated, finely grained tannins. Slightly dryish finish with an aftertaste of ripe mulberries, redcurrants, tobacco infusions, vanillin cedar and spicy dried bay leaf.
Cellar 3-4 years.
