2016 Moorooduc Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with a subtle tinge of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. The refined nose displays aromas of white peaches and nectarines overlaid by dried honey, nougat, cashew and light spice notes. Medium bodied, there’s good richness to the ripe peach, dried honey and cashew flavours which have a creamy feel. Picking up on the finish are some citrusy nougat characters, light toast and spice. Good length with long ripe peach, dried honey, cashew, roasted almonds, nougat and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
