2016 Monte Tondo San Pietro Valpolicella Superiore

A blend of 55% Corvina, 30% Rondinella and 15% Molinara. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Bright red cherry aromas intermingle with rose petals, dried cherry and raspberry notes followed by earthy dried herbs and spice. Juicy dark and spicy dried cherry flavours intermingle with fresh raspberries over a back drop of light scorched earth and dried herbs. Finishes with some sour cherry like acidity, refined tannins and a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
