2016 Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot

Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark cherry and plum aromas meld into some cedary tobacco characters and spice. Large scaled and opulent for Merlot the palate possesses ripe dark cherry, plum and subtle liquorice flavours over cedary tobacco infusions with some spicy dried herbs on the finish. Velvety tannins with a soft rounded mouthfeel and an aftertaste of spicy ripe dark plums, liquorice, cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
