2016 Mezzacorona Castel Firmian Lagrein Rosato

Translucent cherry pink colour. Fruity ripe cherry and strawberry aromas overlay light stone and spice notes. Round and fruity in the mouth with a relatively soft acid finish the palate has flavours of dried cherries, strawberries and subtle pomegranate with an undercard of stony characters and light spice. Dry conclusion with a modest aftertaste of cherries, strawberries, pomegranate and subtle spice.
