2016 Main Divide Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of herbaceous gooseberries and a whiff of passionfruit intermix with grapefruit followed by some grassy asparagus notes. The palate boasts terrific intensity with mouth watering flavours of herbaceous gooseberries, passionfruit and citrus hovering over a backdrop of green apples and some subtle grassiness. Finishes dry with plenty of zest from the fresh crunchy acidity. Long aftertaste of ripe gooseberries, passionfruit, citrus and herbaceous grassy characters.
