2016 M. Chapoutier Tournon Landsborough Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe peaches, tropical fruits and honeycomb with biscuity oak and spicy nougat also evident. Full in body the rich creamy textured palate is filled with flavours of ripe peaches, honeycomb and light butterscotch over a back drop of toasty oak and spicy nougat. Finishes dry with relatively soft acidity. Good depth with a long rich aftertaste of ripe peaches, honeycomb, light butterscotch, subtle cashew, nougat and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
