2016 Lightfoot & Sons Myrtlepoint Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green on the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of fresh nectarine and a hint of grapefruit intermix with biscuity oak and roasted nut characters over citrus and a hint of gun flint. Light in body with a subtle creaminess to the otherwise fresh mouthfeel the palate is delicately flavoured with ripe nectarine and citrus over dried honey and biscuity oak followed by light cashew and spicy nougat. Clean dry finish with vibrant yet balanced acidity. Aftertaste of ripe nectarine, dried honey, light cashew and citrusy nougat.
Cellar 5-6 years.
