2016 Levantine Hill Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red to brick red hue. Very Burgundian like the nose offers up an intense aromatic profile of dark cherries and strawberries infused with dried herbs which overlay notes of game, forest floor and spicy cedar. Possessing outstanding concentration and power yet light across the palate, rich dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruits flood the mouth whilst at the same intermingling with spicy dried herbs, forest floor, elements of game and stalky cedar. Supple and texturally round with silky smooth tannins and a very long complex finish. Could quite easily be mistaken for a top flight Burgundy in a blind line up.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
