2016 Levantine Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edgings and a watery hue. A combination of intensity and refinement the nose offers up aromatics of white peaches and nectarines laced with dried honey followed by cashew, citrus, light nougat and spice. Medium bodied with an elegant yet very creamy textural feel the palate features a sophisticated flavour profile of white peaches, citrusy nougat and dried honey with distinct cashew and biscuity oak elements then moving in over traces of lemon butter, bees wax and spice. Finishes dry with perfectly judged acidity. Long aftertaste of white peaches, dried honey, citrusy nougat, cashew, bees wax and spice.
