Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe red currant and mulberry meld into pencilly vanillin cedar like characters followed by a light dusting of earth and spicy dried herbs. Medium bodied with a sense of elegance, smooth ripe red currant flavours mesh with mulberry, vanillin cedar, light earthy tobacco characters and spice. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Concludes medium to long with an aftertaste of ripe red currant, mulberry, spicy vanillin cedar and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
46% cabernet sauvignon, 45% merlot, 9% petit verdot. Very well assembled. Fragrant, supple and smooth, complexity coming from the fruit rather than oak and/or tannins. It's far from a simple fruit bomb style, with cassis/blackcurrant, spice and a hint of bay leaf all woven together on the long, medium-bodied palate. Drink by 2031.
