Situated on the Bremer Flood plain at Langhorne Creek this excellent Langhorne Creek Cabernet was produced from the Follett family’s 40 year old vines. Traditional open fermentation was employed followed by maturation in French oak barriques for 20 months, prior to bottling.

A standout Langhorne Creek Cabernet that punches well above it’s weight.

Impenetrable inky black colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Elevated ripe blackcurrant and liquorice aromas laced with mint rise out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar and light spicy tobacco. Medium to full bodied with a richly textured feel the palate is layered with plush ripe blackcurrant and liquorice flavours which meld into vanillin oak, earth and spicy bay leaf elements. Finishes dry with a firmish tannin structure providing the framework. Long chewy aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant laced with bay leaf, earthy vanillin cedar, a touch of liquorice and spice.
Cellar 6-8 years.
