2016 Katnook Founder's Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe red currants and mulberry tinged with a hint of liquorice meld into dusty vanillin cedar, faint tobacco and spicy mint notes. Medium weight the supple, elegant palate has flavours of red and black currants which hover over a backdrop of vanillin cedar, light dusty earth and bay leaf. Finely grained, refined tannins. Aftertaste of spicy red currants, vanillin cedar, light earth and bay leaf.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
