2016 Josmeyer Kottabe Riesling

From vines 40 years old. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Ripe lime and spicy red apple aromas tinged with honeysuckle are followed by quince and faint stony notes. Rich and round in the mouth with excellent concentration, generous flavours of lime and red apple meld with honeysuckle and spicy quince. Finishes dry with some pebble stone like elements and good fresh acidity. Fullish length with a long lime, ripe red apple, honeysuckle, subtle quince and pebble stone laced aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
