2016 Josef Chromy Pinot Noir

Translucent dark red colour with a light red to brick red hue. Lifted spicy dark cherry aromas intermix with strawberry, meaty characters and forest floor followed by spicy cedar end notes. Very savoury, the light to medium bodied palate has flavours of spicy dark cherries which overlay a backdrop of ripe strawberry, traces of anise, some meaty characters and earthy cedar. Supple mid palate finishing slightly dryish with fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, ripe strawberries, meaty characters, forest floor and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
