2016 J&J Wines Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts. Nosing reveals herbaceous gooseberry and lime scents which are overlaid by grassy asparagus characters with mineral end notes. On the palate there’s some riper gooseberry flavours that intermix with lime and grassy asparagus characters followed by stony mineral characters on the crisp dry finish. Aftertaste of ripe gooseberries, lime, herbaceous grassy characters and stony mineral.
