2016 J&J Wines Boots Hill Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre

Matured in French oak. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright red hue. Elevated scents of dark raspberries, plums and liquorice drift from the glass with vanillin cedar, faint notions of earth and spice ensuing. Medium bodied and supple in the mouth, juicy flavours of ripe dark raspberries, plum and liquorice decorate the palate over a back drop of vanillin cedar and spice. Concludes with a fresh lick of acidity, silky tannins and a medium to long aftertaste of dark raspberries, fleshy plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
Great value drinking over the next 4-5 years.
